Saudi Arabia Says No Israel Ties Without Path to Palestinian State

Saudi Arabia has reportedly reaffirmed that normalization with Israel will only happen if there is an “irreversible pathway” toward establishing a Palestinian state.

According to reports citing CNN and Saudi sources, Saudi Arabia has maintained its long-standing position that it will not normalize relations with Israel unless there is a credible and irreversible path toward the creation of a Palestinian state.

The statement came after President Donald Trump suggested that several Middle Eastern countries should join the Abraham Accords as part of a broader regional agreement linked to Iran.

Saudi officials reportedly stressed that Riyadh’s position “remains unchanged,” emphasizing that Palestinian statehood is essential for any future normalization agreement with Israel. Similar statements have repeatedly been made by Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in previous CNN interviews and international forums.
