American Airlines has announced plans to equip more than 500 aircraft with Starlink Wi-Fi beginning in 2027.

The rollout will mainly cover narrowbody Airbus aircraft, including A321neo and A321XLR jets, aiming to provide passengers with faster and more reliable in-flight internet for streaming, gaming, video calls, and browsing.
The move places American Airlines among several major global carriers adopting Starlink’s low-Earth orbit satellite technology to improve onboard connectivity.
